Calculating the Johnson-Euler Buckling Load

The editable EngineeringPaper.xyz sheet below (this sheet may also be opened in a new tab) allows you to calculate the critical load for a column in compression using the Johnson-Euler theory that is valid for long and intermediate column lengths. Various column end conditions, cross-sections, and materials by be chosen using the tables in the sheet. These tables may also be edited to cover other cases. This sheet also illustrates the new piecewise function feature in EngineeringPaper.xyz.
